X2- How to Use:
  • Q: How do I register my X2?
    A: Please go to www.xplova.com and click "Register and Login" to register.
  • Q: How do I connect my X2 to peripheral sensors (e.g. heart rate belt)?
    A: 1. Click the button on the left to enter the [Main Menu] and enter [Sensor], click the button on the bottom right to enter [Add Sensor], you can set a variety of ANT+ peripheral equipment.
    2. You can also connect X2 to the Xplova Connect App and set up various ANT+ peripherals through the App.
    3. When you start riding, the sensor value will start to change according to the physiological value.
  • Q: How to remove the peripheral devices (such as heart rate belt) of the X2 sensor?
    A: 1. Click the button on the left to enter [Main Menu] and enter [Sensor], select the item to be unpaired.
    2. You can also connect the X2 to the Xplova Connect App and remove various ANT+ peripherals through the App.
  • Q: How to adjust the backlight time? How many options are there? How to turn on the automatic backlight?
    A: Click the button on the left to enter the [Main Menu], go to [Settings]> [Backlight] to adjust.
  • Q: After using X2, do I need to connect back to the computer to transfer riding records?
    A: X2's riding records can be wirelessly uploaded to various professional sports platforms (such as Xplova, Strava and TrainingPeaks) through the Xplova Connect mobile APP, without the need to connect back to the computer for transmission.
  • Q: How to connect and pair X2 and Xplova Connect on mobile app?
    1. Open the Xplova Connect app on your phone.
    2. Click the [Menu] button in the upper left corner of the screen, or swipe to the right on the screen to bring up the menu.
    3. Go to [Settings]> [My Device].
    4. Click the [+] button at the bottom right corner of the screen, and then select [X2].
    5. The Connect app will display X2s that can be paired around.
    6. Please select your X2 and follow the App instructions to complete the pairing. (Do not perform other operations during the configuration process)
    7. Once successfully paired, the Bluetooth connection symbol in the upper right corner of X2 will change. The riding activity information on X2 will be automatically uploaded to the Xplova Connect app.
  • Q: What are the main functions of Xplova Connect App?
    A: Xplova Connect App allows you to:
    1. View and save the exercise records synced from X2.
    2. Upload exercise records to different professional platforms (such as Xplova, Strava, TrainingPeaks, etc.).
    3. Download the route and training schedule to X2 to provide you with outdoor riding navigation or indoor riding training.
    4. You can also configure X2's page settings, alarm settings, smart reminder settings... and other multi-function settings through the Connect App.
  • Q: Why can't my smartphone be directly paired with X2?
    A: Please use Xplova Connect App to pair X2 and your smartphone.
  • Q: Why is the pairing of my X2 and Xplova Connect App unsuccessful?
    1. Please make sure that the Bluetooth function of your Android phone or iPhone is turned on.
    2. Please make sure that your X2 is not currently paired.

  • Q: How to display the power?
    A: Please watch our X2 instructional video
  • Q: How to switch the displayed unit?
    A: Please use the Xplova Connect App X2 unit setting to switch the displayed unit.
  • Q: How do I view the riding record?
    1. After each ride is finished and the record is saved, X2 will display the riding record summary instantly.
    2. After riding, please connect X2 to Xplova Connect App. After synchronizing the data, you can view the complete riding record on the App.
    3. If you want to browse past riding records, please browse on Xplova Connect App.

  • Q: Why did I not receive the smart notification from the App?
    1. Please make sure your X2 and Xplova Connect App are connected (the Bluetooth connection symbol is displayed in the upper right corner of X2).
    2. Please make sure that the smart reminder setting in your Xplova Connect App is turned on.
    3. Please make sure your App reminder setting is turned on.
  • Q: Why does my X2 cycling computer suddenly enter the sleep mode?
    1. If the following two conditions are met at the same time, X2 will enter sleep mode.
      (1) X2 is not connected to Bluetooth and heart rate sensor
      (2) No operation on X2 for 180 seconds or no motion sensing for 180 seconds
    2. Touch any button or sense vibration to wake up X2.
  • Q: What is [Smart Record]?
    After turning on [Smart Recording], X2 will record data every 5-10 seconds without affecting the GPS track. The file size is about a quarter of the record per second.
  • Q: What is [Power Saving Mode]?
    After turning on [Power Saving Mode], the power consumption of the GPS chip will be reduced without affecting the GPS trajectory, which can increase the battery life of the X2 by more than 40 hours.

X2- Hardware:
  • Q:What items are included in the standalone product package?
    A: The package includes the main unit, a Micro-USB cable, a bike mount kit, a quick start guide, and a warranty card.
  • Q:Is the charging cord for X2 identical to that of a cellphone?
    A: Yes, any standard Micro-USB cable for Android devices can be used interchangeably.
  • Q:Is X2's bike mount compatible with other brands' mounts?
    A: It is recommended to use Xplova X2's own bike mount kit. Using other brands' bike mounts may induce accidental vibration, and the device may fall off.
  • Q:Can I use Xplova's Heart Rate Belt or 2-in-1 Combo Sensors with other competing cycling computers?
    A: Yes, they are compatible with all ANT+ wireless-enabled sensors.

X2- software version:
  • Q: How to confirm whether there is a new software version available for X2?
    1. Please connect X2 to Xplova Connect App first
    2. Please enter [Settings]>[My Device]>[X2]
    3. Click the [Firmware Update] button, and the App will check if there is any firmware that needs to be updated.
    4. If the firmware needs to be updated, please follow the instructions of the App to complete the update. (Do not perform other operations during the update process)

Notice to suspend and stop video upload and cloud storage on Xplova website


After a thorough consideration, we must regretfully inform you that service for all X5 product members on video upload to Xplova website (www.xplova.com) will no longer be in service. This change will be effective on January 1st, 2020. Meanwhile, we will remove all X5 members’ video uploads from the cloud storage. If you wish to preserve your video, please spare your time to log-in to Xplova website and migrate stored data to your personal storage (visit video listing, enter preview video mode and then right click mouse button to download) before December 31st, 2019. This is to inform you that we will remove any inactive or dormant members on Xplova website (www.xplova.com) for more than three years soon.
